BEE stands for Broadcast Ephemeris Extension. The Holux GPSmile 61 with BEE is able to predict the satellite data for up to an additional 3 days. This means that when the GPSmile 61 is turned on, it will know immediately where the satellites are and hence you get a fix MUCH faster compared to other devices in the market which do not use this technology.

BEE does not require any internet connection and just requires the user to use the GPSmile 61 regularly.
